Thank you for reaching out to The Lindley Town Court in regards to your ticket.
Options for responding to vehicle and traffic tickets are as listed below;
A. Guilty Plea
You may fill out section A on your ticket for pleading guilty. The Judge will assess a fine and fee based on NYS guidelines and you will receive a notice in the mail explaining how to pay and the amount due.
B. Not Guilty Plea
You may fill out section B on your ticket for pleading not guilty if you are looking for a possible reduction or dismissal. You will receive a new date and information on how to contact the online drivers diversion program.
C. You have the right to request an in person trial with the officer. At this time The Court does not offer virtual trial. If you are requesting a trial with the officer and received a roadside reduction you may be tried on the original citation. Please verify your address is correct before returning your ticket.
You may paper mail your plea OR take a photo of it and attach it to the court’s email to be printed as long as it is filled out and signed.
If you no longer have your ticket and wish to plead you may do so on any paper. Please include your name, how you plead, your date of birth, and signature.

- DO NOT MAKE A PAYMENT UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR FINE NOTICE FROM THE COURT.
- Payment is accepted in the form of Money Orders, Certified Check, or Credit Card.
- NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED.
